Pro-Chaser Association Season 2: How to watch, power rankings, teams, players

Season 2 of the Pro-Chaser Association, the new Chinese Overwatch league, is upon us. The Chinese community tournament is organized by Chinese caster Chen, former coach of the Chengdu Hunters. The PCA will pit 8 teams against each other in a round-robin group stage before a six-team, double-elimination playoffs bracket.

How to Watch?

You can watch the Pro-Chaser Association on Bilibili. Games typically begin at 6:00 AM EST (10:00 AM GMT). Additionally, updates and highlights can be found on Kryix correspondent Lionel Li's Twitter.

Teams, Rosters, Power Rankings, and Players to Watch

The PCA features 8 teams. Teams are allowed to have up to two non-Chinese players ("imports") on their roster. Players from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau do not contribute to the foreign player limit.

Number 8: Boys Help Boys

Boys Help Boys Overwatch PCA roster

Roster:

  • DPS: Bobo, killmynerve, L3AF, Kur

  • Tank: Faith

  • Support: Glires, kongcheng

  • Flex: Kouzi

    • Coach: Johnsk1

None of this team's players played in Season 1 of the PCA. As a team of rookies, their chances of doing much damage are slim. However, Johnsk1 is an experienced coach who helped turn around Shikigami this year, so they could rise above their experience level.

Player to watch: killmynerve, DPS

Number 7: Levi's Squad

Levi's Squad Overwatch PCA roster

Roster:

  • DPS: Piece, Jeremy

  • Tank: KEIOS, sheep

  • Support: JY, P1g, Ayasa

    • Coach: Extra

Coached by longtime Guangzhou Charge manager Extra, Levi's Squad has a lot of potential. While they should not be expected to make the playoffs, do not rule it out for them either.

Number 6: Young Blood

Young Blood Overwatch PCA roster

Roster:

  • DPS: Pity, XIAOLIAN

  • Tank: Wen, Decade

  • Support: Probee, Narixis, Soax

    • Coaches: pOv, Joel, penny

Soax is a polar bear in Arlington, Texas once more, but this time he forms a strong backline with Probee and NARXIS. XIAOLIAN played for Team Hong Kong at the last Overwatch World Cup, but he has a reputation for being streaky at times. This is his opportunity to prove himself against strong competition.

Number 5: Team NC

Roster:

  • DPS: Ecc, UnNatural

  • Tank: SeungAn

  • Support: BL1NK, wzrygosu, Kano

  • Flex: Twe12e, SkyShow

    • Coaches: noname, adg

SeungAn and BL1NK are both Korean players; SeungAn spent OWCS Pacific Stage 2 with BLEED Esports, while BL1NK played for Insomnia in OWCS Japan Stage 1. BL1NK also played with Ecc and Twe12e in PCA Season 1 on TOP. Curiously, this team originally featured PaLee, a Thai support player from BLEED Esports. However, due to internal issues, he left the team. A source close to the matter says that Team XX plans to play SkyShow, a hitscan one-trick, on flex support instead.

Number 4: Team XX

Roster:

  • DPS: Insane, Argon

  • Tank: PEPPI

  • Support: Wagyu, Coldj, Dok1doki

  • Flex: Twe12e, SkyShow

    • Coach: Debupunch

Team XX retain most of their 3rd-place roster from Season 1. Coldj, formerly known as Coldest, joins the team for Season 2, adding to a rookie backline of Wagyu and Dok1doki that impressed in Season 1. Retaining Argon is huge for Team XX, as he was one of the PCA's best players in Season 1.

Number 3: Capere CAT

Roster:

  • DPS: Apr1ta, Becky

  • Tank: Deng

  • Support: Lengsa, Molly, KIVIS

    • Substitutes: Wh4le (DPS), Saya (Support)

    • Coach: NoHill

NoHill has stocked his team with top talent. Apr1ta, CNOW's prodigal son, made his triumphant return in PCA Season 1, and showed that he had not lost a step. With the additions of Becky from Old Ocean, Molly from the retirement home, and Lengsa from Once Again, NoHill has partially recreated the 2022 Los Angeles Valiant. Was that 2022 LAV roster, which went 7-17, "good?" Not in the traditional sense, but they were certainly entertaining, and often punched above their weight. Capere CAT has experience in spades, and if Deng can continue his growth from Season 1, the team should be able to compete for the title.

Number 2: Raymomo Fishball

Roster:

  • DPS: Sgy, Jinmu, Jimmy

  • Tank: Lumi, Lateyoung

  • Support: VVVV, RAYMOMO, Tomato

    • Coach: Chen

What do you get when you take some of the top players from the Pacific region, half of Oldest Pro, and smush them together? You get Raymomo Fishball, one of the scariest teams in the PCA. Sgy is one of the best DPS players in the region and will form a lethal frontline with Jinmu and Jimmy. Tomato, aka Itachi, used to play tank, but has converted to main support for this roster. After extensive main support trials, Fishball found they played best with Tomato anchoring their backline.

Player to watch: Sgy, DPS

Number 1: Team CC

Team CC Overwatch PCA roster

Roster:

  • DPS: Diya

  • Tank: LiGe, Tiya

  • Support: Superich, Farway1987

  • Flex: Pineapple, Kaneki

    • Coach: Kama

Team CC won Season 1 of the Pro-Chaser Association in dominant fashion. Unsurprisingly, they are the favorites to win Season 2. Farway1987 is still lethal on Flex Support, while Pineapple and Kaneki are dangerous whether on DPS or Support. It will be interesting to see if rookie tank player Tiya will see any playtime.

Player to watch: LiGe, Tank

Season 2 of the Pro-Chaser Association begins October 25th.
